Subject: Different Writing Types and Checklists

Hello

I am creating a portfolio of all the different types of children’s writing from Year 4 through to Year 13 e.g. narrative, descriptive, argument, reports etc.  It has been a huge task.  I’m willing to share what l have created so far but feel there has to be an already existing portfolio explaining exactly what each type of writing there is, a checklist of what is expected and showing an example.

From previous experience l have found some students complete amazing writing but they cannot be given a great mark because they didn’t include the most important writing features for the exercise given.

I would appreciate any assistance of where to find these portfolios with a list of all; writing types, descriptions, checklists and example please.

Any assistance you can provide would be much appreciated.

Kindest Regards

Kay
